Kleen Air Research Inc is a true American business success story. Founded in 1981 by Marvin and Jean Holley, and son, Dwight, the company has consistently experienced phenomenal growth. From a covered bumper pool table desk in Dwight’s bedroom serving as the first administrative office, and part of the home’s garage as the center of operations, the company has outgrown its facilities 7 times.

Presently, the Kleen Air Research corporate office and manufacturing facility are located in 56,500 square feet in the Florence, Alabama, Industrial Park. Kleen Air also occupies over 40,000 square feet of additional warehouse space located throughout the United States.

Kleen Air Research currently employs more than 211 service techs, filter manufacturers, managers, and administrative team members. Service techs and managers are strategically located in 50 geographic districts around the country. Our techs, in a fleet of 90+ trucks, provide regular service to more than 13,000 customers in 41 states. Over 3 million filter change-outs and additional services were performed last year in commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts. No employee has suffered a lay-off at Kleen Air Research since beginning operations in March of 1981.

The business model is both unique and innovative in the air filter industry. Kleen Air Research provides both sales and service of air filters to customers nationwide. The service personnel live in the areas they work. This enables them to provide local and emergency attention to the majority of our customers. The techs also provide full service coverage to rural areas of their geographic districts. Careful planning, extensive training and fully automated administrative and routing systems help to insure efficiency and consistent, timely service throughout the year. Flexible service frequencies at each location are set by the customer and Kleen Air, most often ranging from 4-12 times per year.
